Marquise V. Brown currently serves as the Residential Experience Coordinator at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts since July 2023, while also holding the position of Music Teacher and Enrichment Department Chairperson at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools since July 2021. Previously, Marquise worked as a Financial Aid Coordinator at Remington College and as the Minister of Music at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. An experienced music educator, Marquise taught music theory, history, and vocal pedagogy at ICEF from 2009 to 2013, with responsibilities that included program budgeting and student showcases. Marquise gained valuable skills as a Graduate Assistant in the Public Administration Department at Grambling State University, focusing on accreditation processes and human resources functions. Marquise holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Teacher Education, both from Grambling State University.
