Dehjah Vaughn

Dehjah Vaughn is an experienced educator currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools since August 2022. Responsibilities include developing and executing a standards-aligned curriculum, crafting rigorous lesson plans and assessments, and fostering strong relationships with students, families, and the community. Dehjah has held various roles in education and public policy, including internships at Angela Rye, INC and GeorgiaLink Public Affairs Group, where skills in legislative processes and event coordination were developed. Additional experience includes serving as a Resident Teacher and Special Education Instructional Assistant, with a strong focus on culturally responsive teaching and individualized support for students. Dehjah holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Virginia State University.
