Jiovan Thompson

Jiovan Thompson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Process Owner at the JPMorgan Chase King Center Imaging Project. There, they were responsible for managing the imaging of over 200,000 sensitive documents and overseeing a team of 40 employees. In 2014, Jiovan joined Friendship Public Charter School as the Business Services Manager/Head of Operations and later became the Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Extend Learning Programs. In this role, they managed license compliance processes for staff and students and oversaw the NAEYC Accreditation process for all campuses. Jiovan also worked at Events DC as an Event Coordinator, where they supervised a team and ensured high-quality customer service. Most recently, Jiovan served as the Director of Operations at Northwest Classical Academy and is currently the Director of Operations at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools.

Jiovan Thompson attended Trinity Washington University from 2007 to 2008, where they earned an Associate's degree in General Studies. Jiovan then went on to study at Kennesaw State University from 2008 to 2013, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.
