Valerie Lenon

Valerie Lenon is an experienced educator and healthcare professional with a strong background in teaching, mentoring, and support services. Currently, Valerie serves as a Teacher and Lead Mentor Teacher at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools, where responsibilities include coaching and assisting Teach for America Corps Members. Valerie also teaches English at The RISE Schools and has extensive experience as a Doula, Baby Nurse, and Certified Lactation Counselor at Birthing Little Humans, offering support to mothers throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Previous roles include Triage Medical Assistant at Atlanta Women's Health Specialists, Certified Nursing Assistant at Northside Hospital and WellStar Health System, and case management positions with Fedcap and St. Vincent's Services. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia Southern University and has additional experience in curriculum development and marketing coordination.
