Ashley Done has extensive work experience in the education sector, starting in 2009 as a Recruiter/Admissions Counselor at Coahoma Community College until 2014. Ashley then moved on to Coahoma County Jr/Sr High School as an English Teacher, where they taught various subjects and created lesson plans until 2017. From 2017 to 2023, they worked at KIPP Delta Public Schools as a Teacher/Grade Level Chair. Since 2023, they have been a Lead Teacher at KIPP Nashville Public Schools.
Ashley Done completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Education at Coahoma Community College from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Mississippi Valley State University. Ashley then attended Capella University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they enrolled at Kaplan University to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Higher Education, which they completed in 2014. Lastly, from 2014 to 2017, they earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University.
