Chelsea Williams

Chelsea Williams is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of K - 8 Math at KIPP Nashville Public Schools since July 2024. Prior to this role, Chelsea held various positions at RePublic Schools, including Principal and Assistant Principal, where an emphasis was placed on developing strong school leadership teams to enhance teacher effectiveness. Chelsea's teaching background includes roles as a Founding 5th Grade STEM Teacher at Midtown Public Charter School and a Middle School Science Teacher within the Jackson Public Schools system. Additionally, Chelsea contributed to professional development as a Middle School Science Learning Team Leader through Teach For America. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia, where Chelsea also participated in the Global Sustainability Study Abroad program in New Zealand.
