Deandre Jones

Deandre Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Deandre is currently a Lead Teacher at KIPP Nashville Public Schools, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at the same school from July 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining KIPP Nashville Public Schools, Deandre served as the Chief Executive Officer of the DeAndreJones Foundation starting in November 2016. Deandre also gained experience as a Social Emotional Support Assistant at the McNeilly Center for Children from May 2018 to July 2021.

Additionally, Deandre has held management positions in the retail and food service sectors. Deandre worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Sunoco LP in July 2017 and as a Shift Operations Manager at Blaze Pizza, LLC from July 2016 to November 2017. Deandre also served as an Assistant Manager of Operations at Helens Hot Chicken from February 2016 to January 2017.

Deandre began their career as a Suate Chef at Battered and Fried from April 2014 to September 2015 and later worked as a Shift Operations Manager at Jack in the Box from June 2012 to July 2015.

Deandre Jones obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from American Baptist College between 2012 and 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A) in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Bible and Theology at Capella University. Currently, Deandre is enrolled at Trevecca Nazarene University, pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.
