Kaitlyn Black

Kaitlyn Black, M.A. has a diverse work experience that spans across different fields and roles. They started their career as a City of Memphis Intern with the Memphis Police Department in 2018. In 2020, they worked as a WKRN News Intern with WKRN News 2 before transitioning to a role as a Communications Specialist at Murray State University. Within the same company, they also served as an Intern and Regents Fellow. In 2021, Kaitlyn became an English Teacher at Shelby County Schools. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Teacher at KIPP Nashville Public Schools starting from 2022.

Kaitlyn Black, M.A., earned their Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Austin Peay State University in 2020. In 2021, they completed their Master's degree in Journalism from Murray State University. Kaitlyn is currently pursuing a Master of Education - MEd in Elementary Education and Teaching at Grand Canyon University, starting in 2022.
