Kelsey Palmer

4th Grade Teacher at KIPP Northern California

Kelsey Palmer's work experience begins in 2012, when they served as a Resident Advisor and Seminar Leader for the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program. In 2014, they worked as a Campaign Consulting Intern at Calvert Street Group and also joined Teach For America as a Corps Member. That same year, they began working as a Reading Teacher at the Coahoma County School District's Sherard Elementary. In 2016, Kelsey became the Dean of Community Life at RePublic Schools, and in 2018, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal of Instruction. Kelsey continued in this position until 2021 when they joined STEM Preparatory Academy as the Dean of Instruction for ELA. Kelsey's most recent work experience is as a 4th Grade Teacher at KIPP Public Schools Northern California, starting in June 2023.

Kelsey Palmer attended Vanderbilt University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In August 2014, they also obtained a certification in Education Elementary from the Mississippi Department of Education.
