Maggie Brown

Maggie Brown has a strong background in education, currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Student Services at KIPP Public Schools Northern California since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Lead Education Specialist and First Grade Teacher at the same institution, as well as a Learning Specialist, Kindergarten Teacher, and First Grade Teacher at Uncommon Schools from August 2013 to July 2017. Brown has expertise in creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implementing effective reading programs that yield significant student progress. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special and Elementary Education from Elon University.
