Carolyn Hack

Carolyn Hack currently serves as President of KIPP NYC, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Carolyn held various positions at KIPP Foundation from August 2018 to September 2023, including Interim Chief Financial Officer, Executive Coach, and Consultant. Between September 2015 and August 2018, Carolyn was the Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Public Schools. Carolyn's prior experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Uncommon Schools from August 2006 to August 2015, and as a Math teacher at The Branson School from August 1997 to June 2003. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, a Master of Education in Public Policy Analysis from Stanford University Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
