Zanifa Franck is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in various educational settings. Currently serving as the interim Regional Principal and Dean of Learning & Development at KIPP NYC since July 2017, Zanifa focuses on creating professional development opportunities and implementing effective instructional strategies to enhance student mastery. Previously, as the Regional Managing Director of Restorative Practices, Zanifa conducted needs assessments and developed a DEI vision to address organizational barriers. Additionally, Zanifa has held leadership roles at Forefront Church, overseeing mental health services and mutual aid programs, and has experience in instructional coaching at Breakthrough NYC and Success Academy Charter Schools. Zanifa holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Howard University.
