Dr. Serrano Legrand Jr.

Dr. Serrano LeGrand Jr. is a highly accomplished educator and leader in K-12 mathematics teaching and learning, currently serving as the Director of K-8 Mathematics at KIPP Foundation and the Director of K-12 Mathematics Teaching & Learning at KIPP Philadelphia Schools. With a robust background that includes roles as an Education Consultant at the University of Pennsylvania and a Mathematics Educator at Achievement First, Dr. LeGrand has managed extensive change management projects, developed and facilitated professional learning for educators, and led significant curriculum initiatives. A Doctoral Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. LeGrand's research focuses on the intersections of education, entrepreneurship, and freedom-dreaming, complemented by a solid educational foundation that includes a Doctor of Education and multiple master's degrees in teaching and education.
