Terry Young is a dedicated educator with a diverse background in teaching and community organization. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at KIPP Philadelphia Schools since January 2020, Terry focuses on planning and implementing English instruction for students with IEPs and monitoring their academic progress. Previous experience includes a role as a Sixth Grade Teacher with The School District of Philadelphia, where Terry provided instruction aligned with Common Core Standards, as well as positions in voter mobilization with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and human resources management with the City of Philadelphia. Terry holds a Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification in English from Eastern University and a Master of Public Administration from Louisiana State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Grambling State University.
