Stephanie Shew

Stephanie Shew, CPA has extensive work experience in accounting and audit. Stephanie most recently served as the Director of Accounting & Audit at KIPP Foundation starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Accounting Manager at KIPP Foundation from September 2016 to June 2022. Stephanie also held the position of Senior Accountant at KIPP Foundation from November 2013 to August 2016. Before joining KIPP Foundation, Stephanie worked as a Business Assurance professional at Moss Adams from January 2011 to October 2013. Stephanie also gained experience as an Administrator at Fontanello, Duffield, & Otake, LLP from September 2010 to December 2010. Stephanie has been involved in several roles at Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Chi Chapter, including Chapter Liaison from June 2009 to May 2010 and Social Coordinator from December 2008 to July 2009. Additionally, they worked as a Writer and Researcher at Zicasso.com from January 2008 to June 2009. Stephanie also gained experience as a Tax Preparer at San Francisco State University Volunteer Income Tax Assistance in February 2009 to April 2009. Before pursuing their accounting career, they worked at Sugar Luxury, LLC as an Assistant Manager/Sales Associate from November 2006 to January 2009. Stephanie also has experience as an Office Assistant at Cowbell.com from September 2005 to August 2007 and as a Sales Associate at Paper Zone from September 2005 to October 2006.

Stephanie Shew, CPA completed their education at San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Accounting. Stephanie also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from San Francisco State University during the same period. Prior to that, they attended College of Marin from 2005 to 2007. Stephanie completed their high school education at Redwood High School from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they hold a Certified Public Accountant certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
