Associate Director Of Talent Acquisition at KIPP SoCal Public Schools

Arica Watford has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and coordination roles within the education and non-profit sectors. Arica joined KIPP SoCal Public Schools in 2017 as a Talent Aquistion Associate and was promoted to Talent Acquisition Manager in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at City Year as a Talent Coordinator, where they organized talent for general assemblies and coordinated events such as the Unity Rally. Arica also served as a Team Leader at City Year Los Angeles, leading and mentoring a team of AmeriCorps members. Arica began their career as an AmeriCorps Member at City Year and also worked as a Tutor/Counselor at Upward Bound. Arica gained experience as an intern at Waterbury Youth Services' Camp Kawaniis in 2014.

Arica Watford completed their education at the University of Connecticut, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Arica attended the university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in Disaster Relief from the American Red Cross in October 2015.
