Breyana Semien, M.A. began their work experience in 2019 as an Instructional Aide at KIPP Bay Area Public Schools. In this role, they worked with students in small groups or one-on-one, facilitated social interactions, and provided testing accommodations. In 2019, they also started working as an Instructional Assistant at Aspire Public Schools, where they developed and implemented lesson plans, assessed students, collaborated with team members, and assisted with differentiated instruction. In 2020, they became a Teacher Resident at Aspire Public Schools, earning their Master's Degree and Teaching Credential while apprenticing with an expert teacher. Breyana joined KIPP SoCal Public Schools in 2021 as a Teacher.
Breyana Semien, M.A., began their education at Ronald E. McNair High School, where they completed their high school education from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended San Jose State University from 2013 to 2018, where they received their Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. More recently, from 2020 to 2021, Breyana attended Alder Graduate School of Education, where they earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education.
