Gabriel Rouse

Gabriel Rouse has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Gabriel started their career in 2011 as an Operations Supervisor at Microcell Inc, where they played a role in the start-up of the iPhone department in a cell phone refurbishing plant.

In 2012, Gabriel worked as a Legal Assistant at Physical Rehabilitation Services, where they handled phone calls and performed data entry tasks.

From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Customer Care Agent at the United States Postal Service, answering customer service calls and providing resolutions using computer software.

In 2017, Gabriel joined Lyft as a full-time Driver, accepting ride-share requests and creating a pleasant atmosphere for passengers.

Gabriel then returned to the United States Postal Service in 2018, where they held multiple roles. As a Mail Handler Assistant, Gabriel was responsible for rotating assignments and operating equipment like forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Gabriel also served as a Maintenance Mechanic, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mail processing equipment, as well as conducting building maintenance tasks. Additionally, Gabriel briefly worked as a 204-B Supervisor Distribution Operations, where they supervised a large group of mail processing personnel and managed work assignments.

Currently, Gabriel works at KIPP SoCal Public Schools as an After School Instructor. In this role, they teach computer programming to students using CodeCombat and guides them in computer science, game development, and web development.

Gabriel Rouse's educational history includes obtaining a Certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS) from Rio Hondo College, with a focus on the field of study being GIS. Gabriel completed this program in the year 2023. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Gabriel attended the Universal Technical Institute-Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Division and earned a Certificate in Harley Davidson, specializing in motorcycle mechanics. As for additional certifications, Gabriel obtained a Certificate in Geographic Information System from Rio Hondo College in June 2023. Gabriel also received the Teach for LA certification from The Teach Los Angeles Regional Collaborative in November 2021. Lastly, Gabriel obtained a certification as a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Technician in September 2010, although the institution where they obtained this certification is not specified.
