Hannah L. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Hannah started their career as a Student Teacher at Robert Healy School in 2015. Hannah then worked as a Tutor at Lights On Learning LLC, where they provided one-on-one and group tutoring for K-12 students in various subjects. Hannah created goals, monitored student grades, and communicated with parents and teachers. In 2016, they became a 3rd Grade Teacher at Daystar Academy, where they taught until 2021. Hannah joined KIPP SoCal Public Schools in 2021 as a 3rd Grade Teacher. Prior to their teaching roles, they worked as a Counselor and an English Language Learner Teacher at Southlands Christian School from 2012 to 2016.
Hannah L. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Education with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching, Language Arts, and English as a Second Language at Calvin University from 2011 to 2015. After their undergraduate studies, they obtained multiple certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In June 2015, they earned a State of Michigan Provisional Teaching Certificate from the Michigan Department of Education. Subsequently, in November 2015, they received an ACSI Educator Certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International. Additionally, in September 2017, they obtained an Education: Professional Educator Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education. Most recently, in February 2020, they acquired a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. These certifications further indicate their dedication to the field of education and their commitment to staying updated with the latest teaching practices.
