Meghan Couch-Edwards

Meghan Couch-Edwards has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Meghan is currently an Associate Faculty at Arizona State University, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Elementary Teacher at KIPP SoCal Public Schools since August 2021. Meghan also had experience as an English Second Language Teacher at BlingABC from June to August 2021, and as a Substitute Teacher at Scoot Education from March to August 2021. Before their teaching positions, Meghan served as a Substitute Teacher at Long Beach Unified School District from March 2019 to March 2021. Additionally, they worked at Whittier College, first as a Study Abroad Advisor from May 2017 to June 2018, and then as an Admission Counselor from November 2014 to May 2017. Overall, Meghan has gained valuable experience in education and academic advising.

Meghan Couch-Edwards obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Anthropology, as well as Spanish, from Whittier College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they also briefly attended Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, focusing on Sociologia, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. Additionally, Meghan pursued further education in 2020, earning a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Global Education from Arizona State University. To complement their educational background, they obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Foundation TEFL in June 2020.
