Breon Robinson

Breon Robinson is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Regular & GT/Honors Mathematics Teacher at Marine D. Jones Middle School since August 2022. Breon effectively strategizes lesson plans aligned with state standards and employs culturally responsive pedagogy. With a commitment to collaboration, Breon facilitates communication among diverse stakeholders to support student academic growth. Additionally, Breon is a member of Teach For America, selected from a national pool of applicants, and participated in comprehensive training to enhance student achievement. Previous roles include outreach efforts with the Duke Black Student Alliance, research assistance at the Duke Identity and Diversity Lab, various internships focusing on digital content and analysis, and customer service at Duke University's Gothic Bookshop. Breon holds a Bachelor of Arts in "Black Representations in 20th & 21st Century Arts & Media" from Duke University.
