Jose Lara

Jose Lara is an experienced facilities manager currently overseeing maintenance and operations at KIPP Texas Public Schools since April 2022. Responsibilities include managing budgets, staffing, vendor contracts, and facility improvements such as HVAC and security systems. Previously, Jose served as a Supervisor for Viral Vector at Lonza, where management of cell and gene therapy activities in compliance with safety and regulatory standards was critical. As a co-founder of GADORS, oversight of operations and business development efforts was instrumental in expanding the company. Jose also held supervisory positions at Baxalta and Baxter International Inc., focusing on manufacturing readiness and regulatory approval processes for significant projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and an Associate of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from Glendale Community College.
