KIPP St. Louis
Marian Fukuyama has been working as an Assistant School Leader at KIPP St. Louis since July 2013. Prior to this role, they were an 8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at the same school. Before joining KIPP, Marian worked as a 9th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at Construction Careers Center Charter High School from July 2011 to June 2013. They also served as a 2011 Corps Member at Teach For America. Marian holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General/Psychology from the University of Iowa.

KIPP St. Louis Public Schools is an open-enrollment, public, tuition-free charter school network of six schools with more than 2,400 preK-12 students across the city of St. Louis. Together with our families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare our students to pursue any path they choose—college, career, and beyond— so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. KIPP St. Louis currently serves 1,300 students and at full growth, we will serve nearly 2,600 students and hundreds of alumni.
