Anton Simen currently serves as the Quantum Machine Learning Lead and Quantum Algorithm Engineer at Kipu Quantum since March 2023. Prior to this role, Anton held the position of Quantum Computing Scientist at SENAI CIMATEC from November 2021 to April 2023 and worked as a Research Intern at CloudWalk, Inc. from August 2021 to November 2021, focusing on kernel-based quantum classifiers, evolutionary computing, and graph theory. Anton also gained experience as a Computational Physics Intern at Parque Tecnológico Itaipu from September 2020 to January 2021. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, Anton holds a Master of Science in Complex Systems from SENAI CIMATEC and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana - UNILA.
