André van Zyl

André van Zyl has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. André started their career as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Aurecon in February 2015 and worked there until January 2018. Following that, they joined Power Plant Electrical Technologies as an Electrical Proposal Engineer in February 2018 and stayed there until June 2021. During this time, they gained experience in electrical engineering and proposal development. Most recently, André joined Kirby Group Engineering in June 2021 as an Electrical Cost Engineer and later progressed to the position of Senior Electrical Cost Engineer in September 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Commercial Lead E&I with Kirby Group Engineering from May 2023.

André van Zyl obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit. André attended the university from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, André also holds a certification as a Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP®) which they obtained from CNet Training in March 2022.
