John Harris

John Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of BIM engineering. John started their career at SSH Design as a Revit Operator in September 2018. After that, they joined Dihlase Consulting Engineers in July 2019 as the Head Electrical BIM Co-ordinator, where they worked on various projects, including international ones. In February 2021, John moved to DUT Projects as a BIM Specialist/Co-ordinator, primarily focusing on Data Center projects. John set up Revit models/templates, conducted on-site workshop drawings, and worked on Navisworks models and clash detective exports. Currently, John is employed at Kirby Group Engineering as a BIM Engineer, starting from May 2023.

John Harris attended Rondebosch Boys High School from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, in 2017, they pursued a N5 Higher Certificate in Multi-disciplinary Draughting at AIE, Academic Institute of Excellence.
