Willian Franco

Willian Franco has a diverse work experience in various roles within the engineering and construction industry. Willian started their career as a CAD Draftsman at Sustenta Perfis Metálicos, where they programmed and made drawings for manufacturing metal structures. Willian then worked as a CAD Draftsman at DintMetal Estruturas Metálicas, where they focused on metal mechanics and used software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks for 2D and 3D drawings.

Willian also worked as a 3D Modeler at Mineiradora São Luís S/A, where they were responsible for creating 3D models. Willian later became a Business Representative at ARCOM and was engaged in business activities.

Willian'sexperience as a freelance 3D Modeler allowed him to work independently and gain valuable project management skills.

In 2020, Willian joined CAPELA & FILHOS - Isolamentos Industriais, Lda as an Operations Team Lead, where they led the operations team.

Willian then worked at Liderar Lda as a BIM Modeler MEP, focusing on mechanical HVAC projects and utilizing software such as Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP.

Recently, they worked at BIMMS - BIM Management Solutions as a BIM Modeler MEP, performing modeling tasks and using various software and methodologies such as CADWorx, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM360, Agile (with Scrum Process), and Power BI.

Currently, they work at Kirby Group Engineering as a BIM Engineer, focusing on BIM-related tasks.

Throughout their career, Willian has acquired skills in data management, site preparation, project coordination, and visual programming with Dynamo and Python.

Willian Franco's education history is as follows:

From 2022 to 2024, Willian attended UNICV - Centro Universitário Cidade Verde, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Big Data and Analytics Intelligence.

Between 2014 and 2017, Willian studied at Faculdade XV de Agosto, focusing on Administration of Companies with an emphasis on Analysis and Systems Development.

From 2010 to 2014, Willian was enrolled in Universidade São Francisco, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Willian has obtained several certifications. Willian completed the HVAC Designer course at AS-Formação in February 2022. In September 2021, they obtained certification in HVAC- Autodesk Revit from Benzor Engenharia e Tecnologia. Willian also holds certifications in Assembly and Drawing from the SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre, and Desenho técnico Mecânico from SENAI - Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial. Furthermore, they have completed various courses in the field of Big Data and Analytics from institutions such as Coursera and Data Science Academy. Willian has also acquired expertise in Excel Advanced, Power BI, and Python, among others, through their training at Microsoft Excel Solutions and the Data Science Academy.
