Mark Fred

Mark Fred started their work experience in 1995 as a Database Administrator/RN at Carle Foundation Hospital, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined Arrow Strategies as a Clinical Analyst for a year. Mark then moved back to Carle Foundation Hospital in 2012, where they held the roles of IT Director Project Management Office and IT-Director EPIC/Clinical Systems until 2014. In 2014, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Kirby Medical Center. In addition, Mark served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2009 to 2016, with roles as a Medical-Surgical Nurse and Company Commander.

Mark Fred has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing and an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Parkland College.
