Jim Farley

Jim Farley is an experienced maritime executive with a robust background in operations and management across multiple companies in the industry. Currently serving as President of Kirby Offshore Marine since February 2012, Jim oversees the Offshore Barging unit. Previously, Jim held the position of Executive Vice President of Operations at Kirby Inland Marine from July 2003 to February 2012, where responsibilities included managing the operational aspects of the business. Before that, Jim worked at American Commercial Lines for a decade, serving as Senior Vice President of Marine Operations and Senior Vice President of Sales, responsible for fleet operations and vessel personnel. Jim's career began at The Valley Line as Vice President of Operations. Educationally, Jim holds a Master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American History from Texas Tech University.
