Kurt A. Niemietz

Kurt Niemietz is the current Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer at Kirby. Kurt has over 19 years of experience in the financial industry. Kurt began their career as an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Austin Calvert & Flavin. Kurt then spent 7 years as the Director of Corporate Finance at FMC Technologies before joining Pacific Drilling as Treasurer in May 2013. Kurt has been with Kirby since March 2019.

Kurt A. Niemietz received their MBA in finance from St. Mary's University and their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Kurt A. Niemietz reports to David W. Grzebinski, President & CEO Kirby Corporation. They are on a team with Kim B. Clarke - VP, CHRO, Amy D. Husted - VP, General Counsel, and Thomas G. Adler - Secretary.
