Mathias Nørmark Thrane has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Mathias Nørmark worked as a Trainee at DGI from September 2011 to August 2013. Later, they had project employments at Vejle Kommune from January 2014 to October 2016 and Nordfyns Erhverv og Turisme in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Business Analyst - Student Assistant at ALECTIA. From October 2017 to January 2018, they served as a Private Equity Junior Analyst (Summer internship) at Maj Invest and as a Venture Capital Analyst (Internship) at Shanghai Chain Plus Information Technology Ltd Co. In 2017, they worked as an Analyst at MHS Corporate Finance. From February 2018 to October 2020, Mathias was an Investment Manager, Global Direct Investments at ATP, focusing on Private Equity and Infrastructure investments. Mathias Nørmark supported and led various phases of the investment process and actively managed direct investments and fund commitments. Since October 2020, they have been working at KIRKBI A/S, where they started as an Investment Manager & Executive Support to CIO and moved on to their current role as a Senior Investment Manager & Executive Support to CIO. At KIRKBI A/S, they support the Chief Investment Officer on strategic projects, facilitates Investment Committee meetings, and handles M&A execution. In addition to their professional engagements, they also work as an External Censor at IBC International Business College starting from November 2021.
Mathias Nørmark Thrane has a strong education history, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they also completed an exchange semester in Economics and Finance at Edinburgh Napier University in 2015.
