Kamran Bajwa

Kamran Bajwa is a corporate partner and the Head of Middle East Practice at Kirkland & Ellis since June 2011, specializing in complex international legal matters for private equity sponsors, corporations, family offices, and individuals, with a particular focus on the Middle East and emerging markets. Prior to this role, Bajwa served as Chief Legal Officer and Managing Director at EFG-Hermes from May 2007 to April 2009. Bajwa holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Michigan, along with independent studies in Arabic Language and Islamic Law in Cairo, Egypt.
