Darren Rayneau

Darren Rayneau is the current Executive Director of College Information Systems at Kirklees College. Prior to this, they served as an MIS Consultant at Lighthouse Learning Trust from February 2019 to October 2019. From March 2017 to February 2019, they were Interim Head of MIS and Exams at Stockport College. Additionally, they served as Interim Director of MIS & Exams at Stoke on Trent College from January 2017 to March 2017. Darren began their career in 2001 as Head of MIS at Barnfield College, where they remained until 2016. In this role, they managed the Funding and Data team, served as Data Protection and Freedom of Information Officer, and was responsible for ILR Funding submissions for SFA, EFA, ESF and HEFCE funded provision, among other things. Darren is an expert in EFA and SFA funding rules, including Apprenticeships and classroom delivery, and has extensive experience in data quality checks and monitoring, data analysis and reporting, curriculum and financial planning, and student records and data systems. Darren has also developed custom solutions using Microsoft based development tools.

Darren Rayneau's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) First Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Bedfordshire and a BTEC National Diploma - Level 3 - Distinction in Computing from Barnfield College.

Their manager is Palvinder Singh, Principal & CEO. They work with Jane Simpson - Executive Director & Director of HR & Organisational Development, Rebecca Meara - Executive Director, Finance, and Mark Bennington - Vice Principal, Corporate Operations.
