Kristie Fisher

Kristie Fisher serves as the President of Kirkwood Community College since October 2023 and has held the position of President at Iowa Valley Community College District since July 2019. Prior to these roles, Kristie Fisher was the AVP/Senior Director for National Associations and Market Engagement at ACT from November 2014 to June 2019, where the leadership of a nationwide team of market experts was emphasized to support educational strategy. Kristie Fisher’s career at Kirkwood Community College began in September 2004 as Vice President of Student Services, focusing on enhancing student enrollment and success through various support programs. Kristie Fisher holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University, an MBA from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.
