Emily Black

Emily Black is currently a Dental Core Trainee (DCT2) and NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on Paediatrics, Restorative, and Special Care Dentistry. Previously, Emily completed DCT1 in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and engaged in research in genetic epidemiology. Emily has contributed to Kiroku as a Dental Team member and Marketing Manager, while also working as a remote Dental Intern. Other roles include being a Bristol Cohort Scholar at The Healthcare Leadership Academy, an Academic Foundation Dentist at the University of Bristol, and various positions in student representation and healthcare. Emily holds a BDS in Dentistry and a BSc (Hons) in Global Health from the University of Bristol.
