Kristen Munyer

Kristen Munyer has three years of professional work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Sales Development Representative for Kisi. From 2018 to present, they have worked as a Spanish Teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools. In this role, they have incorporated online resources such as Nearpod, EdPuzzle, Flipgrid, and Canvas into lessons in order to make learning fun, accessible, relevant, and engaging to all learners. Kristen has also established and communicated clear objectives for all learning activities in order to measure student achievement and enhance learning outcomes. Additionally, they have updated grade book daily with assignment and test data. Since 2018, they have also worked as a Private Spanish Tutor. In this role, they have met with students in person and virtually via Zoom to teach and practice verbal, written, and listening skills in Spanish. Kristen has also assisted students with homework, extra practice activities, and test preparation to help them better understand key concepts in their Spanish class.

Kristen Munyer has obtained a Master of Education (MEd) from Western Governors University in 2020, with a field of study in Learning and Technology. Kristen also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Towson University, which they completed in 2017 with a field of study in Secondary Education and Spanish. Additionally, they hold a Teacher, Classroom certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
