Alex Bird

Alex Bird has a wealth of experience in the hospitality and business development industries. In 2002, they began their career as an intern/assistant to the General Manager at the Sofitel Los Angeles, a 4-star hotel in Beverly Hills. Alex then moved on to Accor Hotels in 2003 as an Account Executive. In 2004, they joined the New York Stock Exchange as an Analyst, followed by a two-year graduate training program at Knight Frank in 2005 to become a chartered surveyor. In 2009, they joined The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as a Business Development Manager, then The Playlist Generation in 2010 as Director of Partnerships. In 2012, they became Principal at HQ Development, LLC. In 2018, they became Co-Founder of Mayumi, an LA-based boutique hotel, and also became an official member of YEC. Alex is currently Co-Founder & CEO of Kiss My Keto, a company that focuses on foods & supplements catered specifically to the Ketogenic Diet.

Alex Bird completed a BSc (Hons) in Management & Information Technology from The University of Manchester, Manchester Business School between 2000 and 2003. Alex then went on to obtain an MA in Property, Valuation & Law from Cass Business School between 2004 and 2005.
