Chris Pantoya

Chris Pantoya has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1998, they held senior operating roles in multiple companies, managing up to 1000 employees and $1.5bn in revenue. From 2008 to 2012, Pantoya served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cox Communications. Chris then joined Verizon in 2012 as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. During their time at Verizon, they identified multi-billion dollar business models and assets in media and entertainment for acquisition and integration.

In 2015, Pantoya joined the National Basketball Association (NBA) as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Direct-to-Consumer, where they built and grew the digital subscription business globally. Chris left the NBA in 2018 and joined Omnichannel Acquisition Corp in 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing SEC filings and compliance.

Pantoya's work experience also includes serving as the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Strategy at Fan Controlled Sports + Entertainment from 2019 to 2023. Chris has also been a board member at Ryman Hospitality Properties since 2019, serving on the Audit and Nom/Gov committees. Additionally, they have been an investor and strategic advisor for various companies since 2019, advising and investing in early stage companies across sports, new media, and tech.

In 2023, Pantoya will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer at Kiswe. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic advisory, corporate development, sales and marketing, financial management, and board governance.

Chris Pantoya obtained a Bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University from 1990 to 1993. Later, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution. Furthermore, in 2010 to 2011, they attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, where they completed an Executive Program.
