David Vu, PharmD, CPHIMS, PMP, LSSBB ✅

David Vu, PharmD, CPHIMS, PMP, LSSBB has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy and informatics. David currently holds the position of Data Analyst Manager at Kit Check since October 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as a Program Manager at Pharmacy Informatics Academy starting from December 2019. Alongside this role, David worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Affiliate Faculty at VCU School of Pharmacy starting in February 2020.

David also has experience working as an Epic Applications Analyst - Pharmacist at VCU Health from May 2021 to October 2021. Previously, they held multiple positions at Kit Check, including Associate Product Manager, Quality Assurance Engineer, Project Manager, and Data Analyst, supporting the implementation of Bluesight software and performing data validation for medication reports.

In addition to their pharmacy and informatics roles, David served as a Mentor at Google for their Summer of Code program in 2020. David was also a Co-Founder and Project Leader at AnyWear VR, LLC from November 2017 to July 2020. Furthermore, David worked as a CAHIMS and CPHIMS Certification Item Writer at HIMSS from May 2019 to May 2020.

David's early experience includes working as a Pharmacy Intern at Kroger from July 2013 to August 2018. David also participated in the VCU da Vinci Center program from January 2018 to April 2018. With their diverse experience and expertise in pharmacy and informatics, David brings a well-rounded skill set to their current role as a Data Analyst Manager.

David Vu, PharmD, CPHIMS, PMP, LSSBB, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University from 2010 to 2013. David then went on to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their educational background, David Vu has obtained several certifications. David became a Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems from HIMSS in October 2017. In March 2019, they achieved the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification from HIMSS. Additionally, David holds the title of Pharmacist after obtaining licensure from the Virginia Board of Pharmacy in July 2018.

David Vu expanded their knowledge and skills further by obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2020. David also received the PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in January 2021. In July 2021, David earned the Epic Willow Inpatient Certification from Epic. Most recently, they attained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in January 2023.
