Eric Carr

Eric Carr has worked in the UX/UI and graphic design space since 2003. Eric began their career as a Coach Assistant and Graphic Designer for the Virginia Tech Department of Athletics. In 2006, they joined FourDesign: the student-run design center at Virginia Tech as a Graphic Designer. In 2007, they became a Senior Web Designer, Web Designer & Developer, and Junior Graphic Designer for CSS. In 2011, they founded Slick Visuals, where they served as Creative Consultant. In 2014, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior UI/UX Designer. In 2019, they became a Senior Product Designer for Darkness to Light. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Bluesight (Formerly Kit Check) as UX Director. In this role, they work directly with product managers, stakeholders, and customers to identify requirements and ensure a positive experience. Eric also gathers user research and track metrics related to identifiable factors that change the user experience, and designs and implements strategies that improve user experience through design for pharmacists, directors, technicians, and more.

Eric Carr attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Eric then attended Adult and Community Education (ACE) from 2008 to 2009, where they studied PHP Programming.
