Ravi Veeraraghav has been working in the software development industry for over 30 years. Ravi started their career in 1988 as a Senior Software Engineer at DataEase Intl. During their time there, they were part of an R&D team involved in the development and maintenance of PC based database tools. In 1993, they joined Symantec as a Staff Software Engineer, where they continued to build and integrate DataEase database products. In 1994, they joined Level 3 Communications as a Project Manager and Software Architect. At Level 3, they were part of the founding team involved in the design, development, and maintenance of a set of Cobol to PowerBuilder conversion solution set. In 1999, they joined Silver Stream as a Senior Project Manager and was part of the founding team involved in the design, development, and maintenance of a leading XML integration tool. In 2002, they joined Novell as a Software Engineer Consultant, where they were part of a large R&D team to design, develop, and maintain cutting edge identity management software. In 2009, they joined Active Endpoints as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were part of an R&D team involved in the design and development of business process management systems. In 2011, they joined Synapse Group Inc. a Time Inc. Company as a Senior Platform (Java) Engineer. In this role, they were primarily responsible for automating any process which was repetitive or time consuming and manual. Finally, in 2012, they rejoined Kitchen Brains as a Senior Java Developer. In 2019, they were promoted to Software Development Manager, where they led a development team in designing and implementing Kitchen Brains' main SAAS products.
Ravi Veeraraghav has a long history of education and certifications. Ravi obtained a B.S. in Physics and Math from Fergusson College between 1980 and 1983. Ravi then went on to pursue an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1983 to 1986. In addition, Ravi Veeraraghav has obtained four certifications from various institutions. These include a "Learn Python 3 Course" from Codecademy in February 2021, a "Mongodb for Java developers" from Mongodb University in December 2016, a "Malicious Software and its Underground Economy: Two Sides to Every Story" from Coursera in July 2013, and a "Principles of Microeconomics" from Coursera in June 2013.
