Lucius Lamar

Lucius Lamar has worked in the technology industry since 1989. Lucius began their career as a Budget Analyst and Programmer/Analyst at System Planning Corporation. In 1996, they joined the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers as a Junior Software Developer, eventually becoming the Director of Information Technology. In 2014, they began working as a Software Developer for Modillion Consulting, LLC. In 2015, they joined Kitchology Inc. as CTO & Senior Database Developer and FEMA, OCTO as Senior IT Consultant and Senior DBA. At Kitchology, they worked to enable those with special dietary restrictions to prepare food that fits their lifestyle. At FEMA, they provided technology advisory services and strategic planning support to the CTO of the Expeditionary Enterprise Engineering (E3) branch, and participated in transitioning FEMA from a traditional waterfall style of software development to an Agile/DevOps environment.

Lucius Lamar graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management, with a concentration in Economics.
