Richard Urwin

Richard Urwin has over twenty years of professional experience in the IT industry. Richard began their career in 1998 as a Software Developer and UI Product Manager at Autonomy Systems Ltd. In 2004, they became an IT Contractor at Wax Info Limited and a Freelance Photographer at Eidetika Limited. In 2006, they worked as an IT Contractor at Digital Healthcare Ltd, and in 2007 they were a Software Developer at True Knowledge Ltd. In 2008, they Co-Founded and became CTO of Psonar Limited. In 2017, they were an API Developer and Backend Infrastructure Engineer at Roger. In 2018, they became a Platform Architect, Lead Dev, Tech Team Lead, and Azure DevOps at KiteEdge.

Richard Urwin attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 1991 to 1993, where they studied Physics, Mathematics, and Design & Technology. Richard then attended The University of Edinburgh from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a BSc Joint Hons. Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science degree, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
