Pixel Artist at Kitfox Games

Carolyn J. has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Communications Assistant at The Nature Conservancy of Canada. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Technoculture, Art, and Games Research Centre. In 2015, they became a Part-time Instructor at Concordia University until 2018. In 2020, they joined McLeodGaming as a Pixel Artist and worked until 2021. Carolyn then moved to Vodeo Games as a Game Director from 2020 to 2022. Currently, since April 2022, they work as a Pixel Artist at Kitfox Games.

Carolyn J. completed their education from Mount Allison University in 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Fine Arts and English. Carolyn then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Media Studies at Concordia University from 2010 to 2013, specializing in Game Studies. Carolyn furthered their studies at Concordia University and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Humanities, with a concentration in Game Studies, which they completed between 2013 and 2020.
