Andrew Shelton has a diverse work experience in the field of performance science and analytics. Andrew started their career as a Sports Science Consultant for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2010. Andrew then worked as a Freelance Writer for Weider Publications from 2011 to 2013. In 2012, they became a Guest Lecturer at Loughborough University, where they focused on the application of physiology and data analysis in sport.

In 2013, Andrew joined Innovation Enterprise as an Advisory Board Member, where they contributed to the strategic direction of the sports division and provided expert speakers for events until 2017. Andrew then joined World Rugby in 2014 as a member of the Player Welfare Group, where they reviewed injury research, provided feedback on player welfare initiatives, and recommended future interventions until 2016.

From 2015 to the present, Andrew has been employed at Kitman Labs, initially working as a Performance Scientist until 2021. In 2021, they were promoted to Head of Performance Strategy, and in 2022, they assumed the role of Head of Performance Experts. At Kitman Labs, they have played a crucial role in enhancing team performance through advanced sport science techniques and collaboration with other departments.

In addition to their roles in various organizations, Andrew also worked as a Consultant for the United States Olympic Committee in 2015 and as a Performance Consultant for a UEFA Europa League Football Club in the same year.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated a strong dedication to optimizing performance in sports through the application of scientific methodologies and data analysis.

Andrew Shelton obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sports Science at the same university, from 2008 to 2010.
