Kirsten Sorton

Kirsten Sorton has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Kirsten is currently employed as a Senior Product Designer at Kitman Labs since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Postlight as a Director Of Product Design from September 2020 to June 2022, where they managed a team of up to 9 designers and contributed to hiring and promoting within the department. Kirsten also served as a Lead Product Designer at Postlight from August 2019 to September 2020. Before joining Postlight, Kirsten held the role of Associate Director of Product Design at Dom & Tom from January 2019 to August 2019, and Senior Product Designer from August 2015 to January 2019. Kirsten gained experience as a Senior Designer at Sports Illustrated Kids from August 2009 to August 2015. Kirsten owned their own design company, Kirsten Sorton design, from May 2005 to August 2015. Kirsten also worked as a Freelancer at Chico's FAS Inc. from March 2009 to August 2009, Digital Designer at Funny Garbage from August 2006 to February 2009, and Associate Art Director at Visual Arts Press from November 2005 to August 2006. In addition, they freelanced for Victoria Secrets Beauty and DKNY in 2005. Kirsten Sorton completed their Bachelor of Science in Journalism (BSJ) at Northwestern University, with a duration from 1992 to 1996. Kirsten then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Design from the School of Visual Arts, where they enrolled from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Kirsten Sorton obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in November 2015.
