Dominykas Platauna

Dominykas Platauna is a Product Engineer at Kitron Group, where since March 2022, responsibilities have included improving product assembly efficiency, calculating manufacturing times and NRE costs for new product requests, preparing product documentation, and communicating with global customers to implement desired changes. Additional tasks involve solving production quality issues, analyzing returned materials, and utilizing Lean tools such as 8D, VSM, 5S, Gemba, and DMAIC. Prior to this role, Dominykas served as a Junior Product Engineer at Elinta Robotics and held a position as a Mechanical Engineer. Dominykas earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at the same institution, expected to graduate in 2025.
