Stian R. Johannessen

Stian R. Johannessen serves as Operations Manager and Technical Manager at Kitron Group since August 2023. Previously, Stian held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Cflow from April 2019 to July 2023, leading the operational/project business unit and successfully enhancing project margin levels. Stian's experience at VARD from June 2012 to April 2019 included roles such as Sales Manager for Fisheries & Aquaculture and R&D Manager, where responsibilities encompassed market development and cross-subsidiary coordination. Early career stages featured project management roles, including Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager at VARD, where Stian focused on design and delivery of new build vessels. Stian also contributed as a board member at Imenco Aqua AS and completed a management trainee program with the Norwegian Shipowners' Association. Stian holds a Master of Engineering in Marineteknikk from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Master of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
