Tim Praino

Tim Praino has over two decades of experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Interim Superintendent for the Kittitas School District since July 2025. Prior to this role, Tim spent 22 years at Richland School District 400, where positions included Principal of Richland High School, leading approximately 2000 students and 150 staff members, and Principal of Carmichael Middle School, where initiatives included data-driven instruction and mentoring new teachers. Tim began as the Assistant Principal of Carmichael Middle School, focusing on student services and effective communication. Tim holds a Master of Arts in Education from Heritage University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Washington University, as well as an Associate of Arts from Walla Walla Community College.
