Jeff Yamada has extensive experience in healthcare information systems. Jeff started their career at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in 1982 as an Assistant Director and System Manager of the Laboratory. Jeff held this position for over two decades until 2003. Jeff then moved into the role of Director of Information Systems at the same hospital, where they worked from 2005 to 2011. In 2011, they were promoted to the position of VP/CIO and held this role until they joined Kittitas Valley Healthcare in November 2018 as the Chief Information Officer.
Jeff Yamada received a High School Diploma from Kapaa High School in 1978. Jeff then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry from The College of Idaho in 1982, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Central Wash in 1983. Jeff furthered their education by obtaining a Master's in Medical Technology in 1986, specializing in MT (ASCP) C, SC, and NCA (CLS) at the Professional institution.
